I built Surplus because I had a good income and zero clarity.

I knew what I earned. I knew roughly what I spent. But my actual monthly savings? I had no idea without pulling it together manually every time.

Most apps show you charts. None showed me the one number that actually matters: what did I keep this month?

Surplus does exactly that — and nothing more.
